Who are the biggest influences in your life?
My dad, Anil Roy had an illustrious life. Beginning his career as a mutineer during Naval Munity against the British in 1946, he moved to Delhi in the early 1950s.
My dad taught me that degree is only important to have a job, education & learning is important to lead a life. Learn whatever you can, but apply your own logic to validate everything that the world tells you. He taught to be resilient, strong in what you believe in.
Ray, meaning Satyajit Ray, the filmmaker and the international icon. He taught me to do things all by yourself, and in doing so you learn different things that you can learn for your professional enhancement. He also taught me that trying to be a perfectionist is not bad, but keep it to yourself, don’t flaunt it.
Wells, meaning HG Wells of Time Machine fame. My first published novel is a concoction of Time Travel and Indus Valley Civilization. Wells taught to merge two diagonally opposite themes and create your world of fantasy.
