How have your political views changed over time?

Political views, I think, largely change from illusionistic to disillusion. At least for an average citizen like me. Like we say here in India in Hindi, Roti, Kapda aur Makan (food, clothing & shelter) are the basic necessity of life.

I’ve read a fantastic definition of patriotism. It says, “if you are ashamed of the miseries of your countrymen, women and children, you are a patriot”. This definition perhaps explains my disillusion.

Now given the above definition, as a common citizen, I’m disillusioned about what’s happening around. It’s simple to around and comprehend that the struggle for accessing the basic needs is becoming difficult by days. Hence, the disillusion.
