  • Continuing with my second innings.

My second innings began somewhere around 2015-16 when I decided to write down those stories that I used to ‘day dream’ about. From my childhood days I used to concoct stories in my mind, most when I was idling. I used to concoct different stories ranging from crime thrillers, romance, political rebel, solving mysteries, and Read.

  • The bicycle I inherited from my father.

I was 10 when we shifted to our own house. Along with the joy of owning a house, fairly bigger than where we stayed as tenants, came the joy of inheriting the bicycle of my father. He had to abandon the bicycle as the distance from his office to this new house increased manifold and Read.

  • Make people smile :)

    ,

That’s laughter therapy for me. Smile, if not laugh. And my laughter therapy is not only for me but for others as well. If I can make someone smile (if not laugh) for 5 minutes, I think I am inching towards the heaven (if there is any). I was born with this inherent quality and Read.

  • Life should be meaningful, even if it is short.

    ,

Life should be meaningful, even if it is cut short. There are umpteen examples of great men and women whose lives were cut short, but they left behind an everlasting mark on the world in their respective, but varied fields. • I could do many things differently. I wish I could. Now I can.

    ,

All of us do things differently. I also used to do things differently. But, the only problem is that it made no difference in my life. Then I started taking some of the proverbs and quotes seriously. Those motivational quotes I used to laugh at. Now I take inspiration from a few (though). The quote Read.

  • Thinking about the past is necessary, thinking about the future is wishful thinking.

    ,

Past is factual. Future is imaginary. We retrospect from the past and learn from all that mistakes that we committed. They are your real-life examples. We just don’t do mistake; we also do right things as well. Hence, we can judge from what did right or wrong, and the consequences thereof. We can then gauge Read.

  • Respect, the only gift someone could give me, and to everyone.

Esteem perhaps describes ‘Respect’ the best way than all other synonyms. Respect is intangible but is the most powerful tool for human awakening. It suddenly makes you feel alive, especially if you are a ‘nobody’, and lower in the ladder in the social hiearchy. Some may say ‘love’ is the most coveted element of life. Read.

  • Running between two for 3 years was my baptism to the college

For undergrads in Delhi University, Anthropology and Geology were not taught in any college. They were the only two departments teaching undergrads. For all undergrads of Anthropology and Geology, the boys would enroll in Hansraj College and the girls would enroll in Miranda House, both colleges located in the North Campus of Delhi University. We Read.

  • I play ‘life, life’ everyday.

    ,

Playing “life, life’ is a daily affair. There is no escape from it, and I love playing. Everyday, as I wake up, the ‘playtime’ tells me, ‘hey buddy, tighten your belt and get ready to play. It’s like any other game; you have a team, who-so-ever stays with you, you have a plan and a Read.
